Do the mambo
Cute little Italian restaurant mmm...Mambo Pasta, for the nicest breakies, lunch & early dinners. Great terrace, great location on the 1e van der Helststraat (can you pronounce that..) 66 in Amsterdam. Made with love...
Just opposite Mambo there' s a great clothing shop (young & old and in between...), forgot the name of store (?), so you just have to go. If I would have a little girl...

Our cat "fly" on my "fresh" laundry, oh well...she is funny, only drinks water out of a glass ON my table, she eats my tulips ( I forget every time..), she follows me the whole day (like all my family members actually..). You have honey on your butt, we would say in Holland...

join the pipe
Love this initiative, it s from 2 (dutch) guys, www.jointhepipe.org, and it benefits in 2 major ways. First, with the money raised from selling these durable plastic bottles they install pumps, wells and other water projects in Africa and Asia. Second, it saves the planet from drowning into an ocean of plastic water bottles. And they also created water carafes for the restaurants and tap water stations for parks and public spaces. Brilliant!!

While my " angels" were baking angels....
I made rusks and made my dreams come true, am not such a great baker and they turned out "dam" good...

6 x cup flour, 3 x cup all bran flakes, ½ cup sunflower seeds, 8 teaspoon baking powder, 250 gr butter, 2 cup sugar, 1 cup oil, 1 ½ cups buttermilk and 2 eggs.
Mix the flower, all bran flakes, sunflower seeds and baking powder together. Mix the butter, sugar, oil in a pot until melted and take off the heat. Add the buttermilk and eggs to the melted butter mixture. Add the flour mixture. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 1 ½ hours. Allow to cool and then cut. Bake at the oven at 50 degrees until dry.
