Founded in 2009 by Johanna Nilsson in Northern Sweden, JohannaN creates jewellery that fuses lyrical Nordic design with the finest Thai craftsmanship. Working in collaboration with a jewellery designer and artisans in Bangkok they use traditional sustainable materials. The business is working towards using only recycled brass and Fairtrade silver in all its production over the next few years. Johanna’s designs forge Nordic simplicity with the beautiful Thai style. JohannaN is deeply committed to ethical working conditions and social sustainability. They work with 8 family-centred businesses in Bangkok whose unique skills contribute toward the intricate process of cutting, molding and creating each piece of jewellery before the journey to Scandinavia.
