Ix Style

Ix Style (pronounced “eye ex”) was just launched a few months ago by Francesca Kennedy. Ix is the Mayan word for water. For every pair purchased, they donate to provide clean drinking water to children. Ix's heart and focus is in Guatemala, which is where Francesca's family is originally from. Ix Style was founded by siblings, Francesca and John Kennedy. They were always motivated by the poverty, violence and lack of opportunities for education and the alarming need for clean water in Guatemala. On a flight to visit her grandfather in Panajachel, Guatemala, Francesca read "start something that matters" by Toms founder Blake Mycosie. During the trip, Francesca saw children drinking toxic water. She knew she had to do something to help. Inspired by gorgeous, hand woven Mayan textiles and leather craftsmanship, Ix Style was created...Their mission: to provide clean drinking water to children ad communities. By buying one gorgeous pair, you help finance and provide clean drinking water. Each purchase makes a difference in freeing up time for kids to spend it at school....and is fair trade for the crafters...
Beautiful! The shoes and the concept and the going hand in hand of looking good and doing good....or foot to foot...now which color to pick..or you take m all....
