De Krantenkapper (The Newspaper Barber) are the works of the Dutch sisters, Lotte and Janneke. When they were kids they played 'barbershop' a lot. To keep their own girly hair intact they used to spend hours cutting newspapers into strings that could be attached to their heads. This newspaper hair was braided, curled and of course cut from long and wavy to crispy short. Today they design paper. Things on paper, things out of paper, things that need paper (& stamps, tattoos, diamonds, little boxes...). They are paper barbers. Newspaper barbers, for they like things to be recycled...so do i...yay...cool stuff from cool chicks...
