Dick Moby has one simple goal: to turn plastic waste into high quality sunglasses. They are not aiming to make your ‘run of the mill’ sustainable sunglasses. Their ambition is to make sustainable sunglasses of the highest quality possible. And they are very cool as well...but it's not as easy as it sounds, you can't just melt down any type of used plastic and transform it into quality shades...to accomplish that goal you need a specific type of plastic and they found it...at the moment, their sunglasses are manufactured from biodegradable acetate. This creates no additional plastic waste, fantastic...and now the sun is warming our hearts, let's warm the heart of the earth and add no plastic...and look cool at the same time...which is your fav...
